Details: The clinic houses a new MEG (magnetoencephalography) lab-Utah's only MEG and one of 15 in the U .S .-allowing physicians and researchers to track real-time brain activity. Overlapped with MRI images, the non-invasive technology links brain anatomy with impulses that reveal brain functions, according to Michael Funke, M.D., Ph.D., who will lead the lab. It will help patients with epilepsy, brain tumors, or who may need brain surgery. |
