Scinto et all recently reported a study in which dilute Tropieamide eye drops differentiated patients with Alzheimer's disease from normal controls and patients with non-Alzheimer's dementias. In an effort to confirm these findings we studied 30 patients (one-half normal controls and one-half Alzheimer's) in a double blind placebo controlled study to see if these findings could be reproduced. |
