Description One of the strangest sights in Utah is the Goosenecks of the San Juan, in the South-eastern part of the state. Here, in a mud-gray canyon more than 1,200 feet deep, the San Juan River makes a series of symmetrical bends, around which it flows six miles to travel an airline distance of one mile. From: PID Collection. Two unidentified people observe the Goosenecks below them.
