Southern Pacific 7042 is an ex railway post office and baggage of the "Harriman style" used for many years by the Southern Pacific on its passenger trains. Named for E. H. Harriman (president for many years of the U.P. RR, early 1900s). Now relief (wreck) train service, it was stationed at Ogden for many years. Taken in Carlin, Nevada. Donor and Photog: Mike B.
