Christensen as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. This anitque quilt was found in a barrel in an auto repair shop in Califorina. The grand-daughter of the owner acquired it and brought it to Utah. It was taken to a quilt Show board and the board member decided to duplicate it. It took 30 quilters nine months to reproduce it. The quilt was sold to Mrs. Allan Ashton, Orem, Utah for $10,000. This quilt is the original and is now owned by Jean C. Christensen. Bought from Kelley Johnson, Leeds, Utah in September, 1988. The quilt is 136 years old.
