Title Automated Routing Tools for the PPL Design Methodology
Date 1986-08
Description A router, suitable to the needs of the PPL design methodology currently available at the Universsity of Uath, is described. The goal is to give the designer automatic routing capabilities, taking care of the often time consuming and messy aspect of point to point connection by hand, as is currently required. This not only frees the designer from tedious detail, but will speed up the overall design process as well. Programs from Magic [14] are primarily used, with a few modifications and enhancements for the PPL design environment, along with substantial interface code. Specifications for a PPL router are also described.
